Global Change Investing (GCI) is non-profit investment service lead by a small number of individuals with educations rooted in both science and business. Our team has a range of experiences from marketing and financial services to technology and business consulting. Our contributors are tied into the latest business, economical, and scientific developments and trends.

We make investment recommendations through fundamental analysis and unique scoring system.  GCI provides recommendations looking across all major sectors and countries, usually with an emphasis on companies in certain sector(s) poised for optimal growth.  For example, two basic global trends GCI takes into consideration when analyzing and scoring a company is the impact of increasing global temperatures and continued development and modernization of Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRIC, which will account for close to 50% of world growth and 30% of the world economy by 2025.  Temperature changes are supported by the dramatic retreat of glaciers and thinning of ice sheets.  Continuation of existing global heating trends will result in thawing of northern permafrost releasing tremendous amounts of stored methane/carbon, which will only add to man-made levels of green-house gases contributing to global warming.  The Earth has already warmed over 1°F during the past century, and with mounds of scientific evidence pointing to an accelerated additional increase of 2-12°F:
-Global mean temperature increased for 24th straight yr in 2009 at near peak levels looking back 50 yrs
-Ocean levels and heat content of oceans reached peaks in 2009 looking back 50 yrs
-Despite increases, during 2009 sun was at bottom of brightness/heat cycle
